Indians Aren't Vanishing Except From Reservations
Two tribal chiefs Wah-Nee-Ota and Richard Two-Moons, representing the Seminole and Crow on a six-nation council for Los Angeles, predict government reservations for American Indians will fade in a decade as many leave for better opportunities. They note growth in Indian families in Los Angeles County from 12 to about 25,000 since 1937 and say younger generations will mix with white society, not vanish.
