Faces Trial in Slaying of Liquor Clerk

Jones 27 James Crawford 27 and Ernest Blank 38 admitted to forging signatures on blank checks and cashing them at liquor stores and markets. Police traced the scheme to S & S Mobile Homes Sales at 2416 W Carson St Torrance and a trailer company. The men were arrested July 26 after detectives staked out their residence and gathered evidence.
