Navy Lt Doreen Two wins stay of discharge
Navy Lt Doreen Jean Two, stationed at Whidbey Naval Air Station, was granted a temporary order by the Supreme Court stopping her discharge after she argued the Navy passed her over for promotion. Two said she could report daily by phone and perform duties from home while hearings proceed. The case stems from delays in lower courts and a commendation from President Nixon cited by Two.
