Hahn proposes overhaul of county building system
Supervisor Kenneth Hahn proposes major changes to the county capital projects operation to curb building delays costing millions. He calls for removing the capital projects division from the mayor’s office, placing it under the county engineer, and reducing commissions. The plan imposes penalties on architects and contractors for delays and sets strict design deadlines for projects under four million dollars.
