Young Good Sams Learn Joy of Helping Others
About 15 Long Beach youths aged 8 to 14 join Los Altos United Methodist Church activities to aid retarded children, visit convalescent homes, and assist Meals on Wheels. Under Mrs. Mark Weaver, the Good Sams program aims to involve children in service, with girls often helping the elderly and boys handling maintenance tasks around the church.
