National Foundation expands to Arthritis research plan
The National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis announced an expanded program tackling arthritis and nervous system disorders along with polio research. Basil O’Connor said funding will support five focus areas and seek collaboration, not duplication, with other groups. The plan aims to aid birth defects and related central nervous system conditions.
