Aerialist Falls 40 Feet During Circus Act Injuring Usher
Circle of 13 000 witnessed a highwire fall at the Inglewood Forum as Daniel Acosta 30 slipped from a backward somersault without a net and struck usher George Hoppe. Acosta suffered serious injuries including a broken elbow cracked ribs and ruptured spleen while Hoppe was also hurt. Miss Silvia Ruddal was struck on the foot.
