In Agrigento Sicily an estimated 2,000 residents may lose their homes as a slow moving landslide threatens the ancient city. About 2,000 of the 48,000 residents had already abandoned dwellings after the slide began, with the worst hit neighborhoods near the southwest hillside. The provincial prefect said these areas may never be inhabited again and the most seriously affected zone must be abandoned.

Nab Driver in Attack on 7-Year-Old Child
