Area accidents kill three in Long Beach region
Three Long Beach area residents died in weekend crashes including two scooter and motorcycle incidents. Victims include David A. Leejeahud 25 of 4165 Olive Grange. Henry Thompson 74 of 338 E Ninth St Long Beach. and Bluma M. Finlayson 71 of 49 Avenida Sevilla Leisure World Laguna Hills. One rider died at Orange County Medical Center after a July 7 collision with a car driven by Eloro Marine Chester Ambrziak IL of Garden Grove. A separate July 8 crash on Rose Avenue and 10th Street left Lejon Hamson dead after colliding with a parked car door opened by Richard E. Gardner 47 of 1735 E 10th St. Finlayson died after being struck while crossing Calle Cadiz near her home. lights may have blinded her at the time, with Edward Mason 40 of 121 Allington St Long Beach identified as the driver.
