King Vidor Eyes Comeback At San Sebastian Film Fest
King Vidor, after a 12 year film absence, says there is a pretty good possibility he will attempt a comeback at age 78. Honored as a festival guest, he presides over the jury as a retrospective of 47 Vidor films is shown. Vidor cites The Crowd Hallelujah Our Daily Bread among his pioneering works while noting a mature, modern project may be his best effort.
