Nixon era emissary opens Danish goodwill tour
Governor Reagan read President Nixon's Fourth of July message at the 60th Rebild Festival in North Jutland with Queen Margrethe II and Danish officials present. Danny Kaye led the singing with Mrs. Reagan, joined by the U.S. Air Force band and the South Gate City Youth Band of California. The event marked Nixon's first stop in a seven nation tour highlighting U.S. Danish ties and a pledge to rededicate freedoms.
