California Tourists Stranded Pay Again for Europe Trip
A group of stranded California tourists chartered a new trip to Europe at their own expense after a mixup in charter flight arrangements. About 19 left for Paris, with 24 arranging to continue to Europe while 77 remained behind. The incident triggered investigations by California Attorney General Mosk and cooperation with New York and federal agencies over the travel agency and CAB group-rate rules.
