Prison Can't Rehabilitate Big John says Doctor Testifies
A doctor testified in Long Beach Superior Court that convicted murderer Johnny Clifford Big John Jackson cannot be rehabilitated by more prison time. Marcus Crahan cited past crimes and tests showing Jackson’s prognosis as poor and labeled him either mentally defective or borderline mentally defective. The witness reviewed youth and adult authority studies while noting Jackson’s history, including juvenile rape cases and robberies, and an adult manslaughter incident. Nearby, Elmer Cody testified about a stolen Cadillac crash that killed Marvin Stuefloten. The trial continues with proceedings set for 9:30.
