Glenn Trains For Orbit In Final Preflight Tests
Glenn prepares for a spaceflight with a final medical exam and coordination tests. He will suit up, launch prep starts at 5 10 a m and entry to the capsule around 6 30 a m. During flight he will exercise with a rubber band while sensors monitor his heart rate and he may observe daylight through a calibrated window to study in space navigation without aids. The plan includes a second orbit with daylight constraints and a descent via balloons and tracking ships over the Indian Ocean.
