Vivianne’s Wig Fashion Sparks Fans and Fortune
The strawberry blonde model Vivianne began buying wigs in April 1973 and now reportedly owns dozens, with estimates ranging from 40 to nearly 100. She favors whitish styles that dramatically alter her appearance and fund fashion by cutting beauty parlor visits, shopping for sales as low as 25 dollars. Her performances on Hammond B-3, including numbers like For the Good Times and Make the World Go Away, gain a new sparkle from the changing wigs.
