The Independent and Press Telegram publish 10 case summaries weekly with rewards for information leading to arrests and convictions. Rewards remain in effect for prior cases or those announced, vary by offense, and informants must contact Secret Witness directly for eligibility.
A chain of rewards totaling thousands of dollars is offered for information leading to the arrests and convictions in multiple murder and assault cases across Long Beach, Torrance, Bellflower, and nearby areas. The notices reference victims including Benjamin Holate, Robert W. Cogley, Marguerite June Makeig, and others, with details on locations, dates, and suspect descriptions, urging witnesses to contact the Special Secret Witness post office box.
A public appeal invites tips to capture fugitives and criminals. The Independent Press Telegram funds a 100000 reward pool. Informants remain anonymous and may contact Secret Witness by phone or mail at Long Beach California.
