Friends of the Library Bring Animal Show to Burnett
Four hundred children packed Burnett Library for an annual treat by the Friends of the Long Beach Public Library. Canine performers Yankee the Poo Die and Mr. MacDuff the Shelly joined two hour long shows guided by trainer Helen Webster. They staged tricks while a story was read by Mrs. Webster as Pinch and Epissdes snacks circulated under the group led by president Mrs. Hy Sunshine.
