Trailback lodge clashes with council over letter tone
Long Beach council debates a letter to Planning Director Ernest Mayer Jr. from Trailback Lodge executive director Dr J Bond dotigon. Councilman Wayne Sharp calls the tone arrogant amid disputes over fence requirements and communications between Planning and the City Council. Lodge officials say lack of coordination caused $10,000 in taxpayer costs and eroded credibility. Municipal officials defend delegated responsibility and emphasize process.
