Helen Sileo's Club Show Runs Lively Song Requests
Helen, a professional pianist since age ten in Windsor Canada, anchors Sileo's restaurant lounge with a vast catalog of songs and a warm voice. Patrons sing along during weekend raffters as she cues favorites from Rain Drops to Snowbird and Yankee Doodle Dandy, while she composes parodies and distributes homemade maracas for percussion. The venue, owned by Earl Slack, draws a predominantly male crowd of professionals, with chef Truman Benton serving top sirloin and seafood options. Additional organ concerts at nearby venues feature notable performers like Lovely Jeasle Erwin and Harry Liszt, with multiple clubs and lounges offering nightly entertainment and danceable shows.
