Dream Ends as Tracy Theater Opes Never Returns
The Tracy theater, once hoped to become a 125000 project including code upgrades and refurbishments, staged a final fundraising night on October 14 1959 led by Harvey S Waggoner and Ronald A Kipps. Despite 600 guests and performances by Miss Mc Fadden Laura Killingsworth Sydney Cullum Betty Toppen Belle Arntz on and Waggoner, funds fell short and the theater remained closed. Three years later miller bought the building planning a 1200 seat convention hall but never completed the project and the site stayed vacant with owners listed as Miller and Albert Parvin.
