Floods Hit Northwest and Intermountain States
Storms unloading heavy rain and melting snow caused major flooding from Utah to Idaho and Wyoming. Utah roads closed and Heber schools shut while central Wyoming communities sheltered over 300 families. Downed bridges, washed rapids, and rising rivers disrupted travel and forced evacuations near Pocatello and along the Big Horn River system.
