Robert L. Nichols, 26, changed his plea to guilty after a second trial on a murder charge ended in a mistrial. The Aug. 16 UCLA student Eudice Etenberg, 19, was killed on Sunset Boulevard. Judge H. Burton Noble sentenced Nichols to life imprisonment.
