Bob Hope Christmas show thrills 12000 troops in Da Nang
About 12,000 US fighting men packed Freedom Hill for Bob Hope and his Christmas show in Da Nang Vietnam. The event featured jokes and beautiful girls including Raquel Welch with Lt Gen Robert Cushman in attendance. The stage ran through skits as Marines stood guard and a sergeant announced units to return to duty while artillery boomed nearby.
