Resigned aide charged in kickback scandal in NYC

Aide James L. Marcus, once Lindsay’s top troubleshooter and future head of a city environmental agency, was charged with taking a 16000 kickback tied to an 800000 Bronx reservoir contract. Corallo and six others face federal racketeering charges. Marcus resigned amid the probe as Lindsay ordered an wide investigation.
