Navy decorator crafts hundreds of beaded ornaments
Helen Davis, wife of a retired Navy captain, runs a year round workshop making jeweled velvet Christmas balls and wreaths. She markets two to three hundred unique ornaments annually, aided by wholesale floral supplies and an assembly line approach. Her art decorates homes and Bullock's Lakewood displays, while she lists the Santa figures and charity ball in California for Christmas leave observances.
