First Negro Officer Receives Medal of Honor

Apollo 8 crew marked at White House moon party

Woman in San Jose dies after new heart transplant

Mrs Georgette Larson 34 of San Jose became the second woman to receive a heart at Stanford Medical Center but died Monday night from a liver infection and pneumonia. She did not leave the hospital after Oct 5 when she received a donor heart. She faced a rejection episode about 10 days post transplant and developed a liver ailment last week.
