Essex Earl dies in Bermuda at 82 in retirement
Algernon George de Vere Capell eighth Earl of Essex died Thursday night at his Bermuda home after a long illness. He was 82 and had lived in retirement there for 15 years after farming in Australia for a decade. His son Viscount Malden inherits the title as the heir flies in from Britain.
