Ifni Crisis Ends as Spain Regains Control
Spain's war ministry declares organized Moroccan rebel resistance in Ifni quelled and that Spanish forces have regained complete control of the enclave. Communiqué says mop up actions will continue until order is restored. Rebels held Tingsa and Zoco El Tzenin. Morocco says resistance from residents of Sini Al Alam continues. The two sides clash amid a fleet buildup near Sini with ships reported offshore and in Ceuta and Tangier.
