Phony Flouse Buyers Loot L B Homes
A man and woman posing as buyers looted at least five North Long Beach residences in recent days. Detectives Tucker McMahan Nesbit said the pair used a distraction and a pretext to steal purses or wallets while a house check was claimed. They drove an older station wagon. victims described a 40s man 5 ft 9 in 190 lb and a mid 30s blonde woman 5 ft 9 in 135 lb. The thefts ranged from 5 to 105 dollars.
