Two Boys Slain in Michigan Kidnapping Case

ROMULUS Michigan police recovered the bodies of 8 year old Gerald Craft and 6 year old Keith Arnold, abducted last Saturday while playing near a friend’s house. The ransom demand reached 530000 but was never paid. Both boys were shot in the head and dumped in fields near Detroit.

Fire kills mom and five children in two city blazes

In Chicago a basement apartment fire killed Flourine Spencer about 23, her three children Theresa 6 Shirrell 3 Maurice 1 and her brother Ronnie 13 plus her pregnant status. In Indianapolis Hazel Carper 58 Judy L David 82 Sharon B Newell 29 and Richard Newell 6 died in a family home blaze. Authorities stated victims were badly burned with uncertain causes and timing.

Solons warned of letter bomb threats from Canada

Postmaster Robert Rota warned all congressmen and staff to not open thick letters or packages that might contain letter bombs. Some 71 House members or employees were urged to contact his office if they encountered such mail. The Mouse Post Office pledged it can examine any questionable mail. The Postal Service said letter bombs may have been mailed to government offices and major U.S. air companies from Canada, though none had been found.
