Twin brothers slain in Texas campus thermonuclear plot case
Police charged Herman P Beiersdorf 22 of Dallas with the killings of Leslie and Larry Owens both 19 from Enid Oklahoma. Beiersdorf lured the brothers to help with a thermonuclear project at Rice University and forced them to lie on their stomachs before shooting them. He surrendered after a psychiatrist advised it. The case follows a string of Houston area crimes including six murdered girls and other bizarre incidents.
