Nine more aerosol spray adhesives barred by safety commission
The Consumer Product Safety Commission banned nine additional aerosol spray adhesives, raising total bans to 13. Most are made by 3-M Co or Borden Co, with brands including Sears Mul, Scotch-Grip Floral Adhesive 77, and Marshall's Photo-Mount Spray. Officials cite links to birth defects and chromosome damage, urge parental testing, and expand nationwide store checks while warnings and penalties for continued sales remain in place.
