Oldest House in Seal Beach Built in 1905
The northeast corner of Hirst Street and Ocean Avenue hosts Seal Beach’s oldest residence, built in 1905 by Philip A. Stanton. Once a hub for political and development dreams, the house retains its brick fireplace and faded 1916 photo in the city scrapbook, yet stands amid newer oceanfront homes.
