Kenneth Ray Liner, 15, son of a textile worker from Cedartown, robbed the Temple bank of 5187 to test his ability to get away. He was caught within 10 minutes by a State trooper. FBI agent James E. McMahon said Liner faced federal bank robbery charges with a $25,000 bond after waiving a preliminary hearing. Trooper J. A. Lively described the suspect as a “little gentle man” and noted two loaded guns in his father’s 1952 car, a .22 pistol and a .22 rifle, with the loot found under the front seat.
