Mittens the cat, after delivering six hungry kittens, is hit by a car. Neighbors Bit Dennis and Sue Moore arrange for Petita the poodle to nurse the litter. Mittens later scraps the plan and returns home to reclaim her brood, sparking a tense dispute.

Pollesche, daughter of Horst Pollesche, 1934 Lime Ave. Her attorney was Fred Nelson, with defendants Burnett Oakry Gladys Belzer and Jana Femlin Nerney Co. named in the negligence case. Oakry drove the truck. Belzer owned the vehicle and employed Oakry.

He notes two staff attorneys will work full time under his direction. George W Tram mell urges swift diligence to develop an effective repressuring program before court involvement.

Two youths from Polytechnic High School were seriously burned after their bicycle slipped into a 20 foot tar pool from a repair vat. Julice Haggerty aged 11 and Arthur Sims aged 10 received first and second degree burns. Haggerty was released, Sims sent to St Mary’s Hospital after treatment. Custodian Carter Harrison alerted authorities.
