A nationwide get out the vote campaign launched by savings and loan associations urges citizens to register and vote to defend democratic capitalism. Led by Robert A. Sprague of Los Angeles, the effort is backed by the American Heritage Foundation, both major parties, the United States Savings and Loan League, the American Legion, and the League of Women Voters.
