Ethridge named editor of Newsday in Garden City
Paul Mark Ethridge, board chairman and former publisher of the Courier Journal and Louisville Times, was named editor of Newsday in Garden City, N Y. He will take over after leaving Louisville newspapers Sept 15 and will keep board duties. He will also work one day a week at UNC Chapel Hill starting Feb 3 and maintain homes in Chapel Hill and Long Island.
