U S Unrest Hearings in Isla Vista
Joseph Rhodes Jr of the Presidents Commission on Campus Unrest toured Isla Vista hearings at a Methodist church with about 25 attendees. He said testimony would join the commission’s overall report and noted Los Angeles held two days of hearings this week. Rhodes attended with commission sanction to hear student unrest beyond Santa Barbara. Lecturer Robert Smith linked many protests to opposition to the Vietnam War.
