Park offices moved to temporary quarters in former Fire Station 16
Long Beach Park Department administrative offices were moved to temporary quarters at 4250 Donald Douglas Drive near the east side of Long Beach Airport. The move, announced by Park Director Chance Hill, allows demolition of headquarters at 2780 Studebaker Road for a new office complex, with completion expected in about six months. The golf division will share space with the street-tree division at 7600 East Spring Street. golf reservations stay at 424-2451, while the golf division line is 425-1061, and the administrative office number remains 421-9481.
