Washington AP reports July 1976 saw regular gasoline national average rise to 58 cents a gallon, up 3.1 cents from June. The survey notes slower growth in gasoline consumption over two years, with implications for daily barrels saved. Other fuel trends include June prices for premium and diesel and a decline in US car dealer franchises in early 1976.
