Paris Majorettes Alter Skirts For Historic Parade
A 10 member Lake Howell High School majorette band from Orlando performed on the Champs Elysees and at the Champ de Mars in Paris completing a European tour. Officials required the girls to switch from minis to skirts to cover legs. They relayed that the change was to respect a solemn ceremony near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and faced a long night of alterations before the performance under August sun. France Soir published a four column photo of four band members amid the coverage.
