Brown in Wilderness Campaign Ends With Lake Visit
Governor Edmund G. Brown rode horseback into Plumas County's backcountry for a nine day campaign camp at Wades Lake. Surrounded by Fish and Game and state officials, he greeted locals and children as he soaked and reflected on the race for a third term. The annual back country inspection concluded when he left his horse Strip and trudged down the trail amid reporters and aides.
