Nixon visit anchors Connally country ranch life in Floresville
President and Mrs. Nixon plan Sunday supper at John B. Connally’s 3,500 acre Floresville ranch, deep in Connally country. The estate sits seven miles east of Floresville, with a family home and several Connally kin nearby, including Wayne Connally a state senator running for lieutenant governor. The piece details the ranch’s architecture, front doors rescued from a 1740 English town house, and a guest camp house that now sleeps 14.
