Blast sinks cruiser in Long Beach Harbor rescue

A 26-foot cabin cruiser exploded and sank 200 yards off Pier C as Stanley Swickey and his daughter were rescued after Swickey pushed his daughter onto a floating door. Harry Boyer and his wife Lee jumped into the water amid flames and were treated for burns. Swickey and his daughter were saved by witnesses and a Pontchartrain crew.
