Appellate court delays update in Ronald S. case
The San Bernardino Appellate Court moved Ronald S. of Garden Grove to May 3 for habeas corpus arguments, delaying a bid for friend of the court standing. County officials say the change shortens time to file further petitions and could impact California juvenile handling rules. Ronald S has been housed at Orange County Juvenile Hall since mid December after defying a Judge Vincent order to stay at Millan Reception Center in Santa Ana.
