Oil Isle Progress Reported
A progress report by Leonard W. Brock, director of the citys Department of Oil, notes drilling has begun on two offshore oil islands, a third is under way, and the fourth is scheduled for June. The Beach Unit of the Illington Oil Field has 116 wells drilled, with 99 producing, plus injection wells on Island A and Island B and several producing wells on Island B.
