A father, mother, and three children perished in a high speed crash on Highway 101 eight miles north of Oceanside when their car burst into flames after a rear collision. The driver David Nieto Lopez 33 and Lenore 29 with children Andrea 3 and two sons David 15 and Arturo 10 months died. James Dringenberg 18 and passenger Donald Vogt 17 received minor injuries.
