Blue Violet Fixes Portrait Color For Cafeteria Owner
William Anthony, a color blind painter, struggled with Hubert Hust’s portrait at Hubert's Cafeteria on Ft Worth Street. After days of trial he added blue violet to the earth umber tint, finding the face now look calm and lifelike, and he has slept well since. Hubert Hust opened the first cafe on Fourth Street and now runs two more at Pine Avenue and Broadway. All three serve Hubert's fresh strawberry ice in season.
