Stone Hurler Once Sought Royal Duel in Japan
In Tokyo a unemployed commoner Kensetsu Nakayama 19 hurled a stone at Crown Prince Akihito and Princess Michiko during the royal wedding procession narrowly missing the prince. Police say a notebook found in his apartment quoted a challenge to the imperial family dated March 26 for an April 10 duel. Nakayama will face indictment for violence with a two year maximum, and a note to see the emperor was sent last month.
