The city’s Texas oil lease at Municipal Airport has dwindled to about one third of its boom period over three years. Estimated current year revenues fall to 510,000 from 1.52 million in 1956-57. Last year’s receipts were 617,399 while production dropped from 638,539 to 968,457 barrels as field depletion accelerated by inter-operator disputes. The city has earned 4,739,962.29 in cash income since 1953 and has been gifted nearly 6.795 billion cubic feet of gas for resale consumers. Royalty under terms remains 42.6 percent.
